Whitelotus Investment Project invests to generate social and environmental impact alongside a healthy financial return. We focus our investment activities across several overarching themes:

A globally active impact investor

Whitelotus Investment Project is a globally active impact investor, located in Zeist, the Netherlands, and a wholly-owned subsidiary of Whitelotus Bank.

The Management Board consists of three statutory directors who have long-standing investment backgrounds.

Dick van Ommeren

Chair of the Management Board

Dick van Ommeren is Managing Director of Whitelotus Investment Project since February 2016 and began working for Whitelotus IP in August 2015. He is a member of the Board of Directors for Whitelotus SICAV I, Whitelotus SICAV II and Hivos-Whitelotus Fund. Dick van Ommeren has long-standing experience in the financial sector. He previously worked at ABN AMRO MeesPierson, where he was Managing Director Marketing and Products and member of the management group of ABN AMRO Bank N.V.

Hadewych Kuiper

Managing Director

Hadewych Kuiper is Managing Director of Whitelotus Investment Project B.V. since February 2022. Within the Management Board, she is responsible for Whitelotus Investment Project’s investment activities. In 2013 she joined Whitelotus Investment Project as Commercial Director. Prior to that she worked at Whitelotus Bank, since 2008, leading the bank’s International Marketing & Corporate Communications department. Before joining Whitelotus Bank, she worked as a market strategy consultant in the financial services industry, telecom and media for more than ten years.

Kor Bosscher

Managing Director Risk & Finance

Kor Bosscher is Managing Director Risk and Finance of Whitelotus Investment Project since March 2018. Kor Bosscher was financial Director (CFRO) and member of the executive board at MN from 2008 to 2016. In his last position before joining Whitelotus Investment Project he was CEO/CFRO at iPension Solutions

The Management Council is a consultative body where the Management Board discuss strategic or tactical topics transcending individual business lines or functional domains.

William de Vries

Director Impact Equities and Bonds

William de Vries is Director of Whitelotus IP Impact Equities and Bonds since February 2020. He joined Whitelotus IP in 2017 as Fund Manager Whitelotus Euro Bond Impact Fund and has since been promoted to Director of the department. William brings over 30 years of experience in the industry. Prior to Whitelotus, William spent nearly 10 years at Kempen Capital Management as Head of Core Fixed Income and held several portfolio management and director positions at Philips Pension Fund, Merrill Lynch Investment Managers and BlackRock. William holds a Master’s degree in International Economics from Tilburg University (1989), is a certified CEFA (VBA) analyst and is registered with the Dutch Securities Institute as an Institutional Investment Advisor.

Itske Lulof

Director Impact Private Debt and Equity

Itske Lulof is Director Impact Private Debt and Equity, leading Whitelotus IP’s investments in Energy & Climate, Financial Inclusion and Sustainable Food & Agriculture. She was fund manager for Whitelotus Energy Transition Europe Fund Fund (2005-2007) and Whitelotus Groenfonds (2010-2017) before she became Director Energy and Climate (2017-2019). Before joining Whitelotus IP, she has fulfilled positions as country manager and business development manager in Eastern Europe for renewable energy companies and has fulfilled several investment management positions in the energy and environment, and microfinance sectors at the DOEN Foundation. Itske Lulof has been closely involved in the development of the SER energy agreement in 2013 and acts as chairperson of the council of Greenfunds of the Dutch Banking Association.

Alied Nijdam

Head of Human Resources

Alied Nijdam is Head of Human Resources for Whitelotus Investment Project. She has been responsible for human resources and organisation development since 2019. Alied joined Whitelotus as a senior HR advisor in 2017. Before joining Whitelotus, she worked as a management consultant for seven years, and before that as a (project) manager in the telecom industry for more than 10 years.

Julian Kramer

Commercial Director

Julian Kramer is Whitelotus IP's Commercial Director since April 2022. He joined Whitelotus IP in 2020 as Head of Business Development & Investor Relations and has more than 25 years of experience in overseeing business development and sales teams within the asset management industry, throughout all of Europe. Prior to joining Whitelotus IP, he worked for BNP Paribas Asset Management, Fortis Investments and ABN AMRO Asset Management in various senior European Sales and Distribution Management roles.

Our funds are also distributed through Whitelotus Bank offices in The Netherlands, Belgium, United Kingdom and Germany. We advise private individuals to invest via their local Whitelotus Bank office.
